Description of centre

ARU is one of the largest universities in the East of England, with a global student body of more than 36,000. We have excellent campus locations in three vibrant cities; Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough.

Our English language courses are provided by ARU Language Centre. Our programmes include academic and general English, bespoke programmes for groups, and teacher training and development. We also run summer programmes for students who want to experience learning English in a university environment.

At the ARU Language Centre we provide a friendly and supportive teaching environment. All our teachers are highly qualified, many are published writers, CELTA and DELTA trainers and some are IELTS examiners. Our teachers are dedicated to delivering a high standard of education and supporting our international students to achieve academic success.

Studying at Anglia Ruskin you will have access to a modern and dynamic campus-based university. We run our English programmes on both our Cambridge and Chelmsford campuses. Both campuses are close to the a city centres, with Cambridge known for its beautiful and historic architecture, and Chelmsford a lively city only 35 minutes from London.

Your course will also include a free orientation programme, airport pick-up and social programme, with activities on and off campus to help you learn English in an informal setting and settle into life in a UK university.

We look forward to welcoming you to ARU!
