Located in a beautiful Georgian town house on Exeter's historic waterfront Quayside, IPC has 9 bright spacious classrooms, 2 social areas, an outside green and access to cafes, restaurants and boutiques along the waterfront 2 minutes-walk away. Our classrooms have magnificent river and country views. We are just 8 minutes-walk from Exeter city centre. The historic Quayside has walks along the river, and is a social hub for Exeter. There is a lovely atmosphere and various places to eat and drink or relax. Established in 1993, IPC offers training to juniors and adults, with summer courses, year-round General English, IELTS and group and one-to-one courses. We also provide specialist training in areas like Military English, Aviation English, OET etc. Many of our adults do Combination courses, a mix of group and one-to-one lessons, which give excellent balance and varied focus. There are a number of ways to combine group and one-to-one and we can create bespoke courses on request. Junior summer courses provide a mix of English and fun social activities and visits to various attractions including King Author's Castle, London, Dartmoor National Park and various others. Adults have a separate social programme, with full day trips on most Saturdays during the year, to a variety of places like Dartmouth, Bath, Famous buildings eg. Agatha Christie's 'Greenway House', river cruises, Paignton Zoo etc. Junior courses are for students from 14 to 17 and adult courses for adults 18+. We usually have a wide age range on adult courses, and welcome students from countries such as Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Austria, Italy, Korea, Japan, Greenland, Turkey, and others. We aim to provide experiences, memories and learning that our students will cherish for a lifetime and for our students to enjoy their studies and feel they have improved their skills. Our staff are passionate about ensuring our students have the best possible experiences. Our homestay families are carefully chosen and known personally. They provide full-board homestay and a warm, friendly home from home. Our experienced, friendly team is dedicated to meeting our student and partners' needs.
