Description of centre

British Summer School offers 10 innovative, inspiring, and academic challenging English language courses for international students aged from 6 to 19 years old.

Courses take place in the following 5 carefully selected boarding schools and colleges: Brambletye School, Worth School, Clayesmore School, Oundle School and Moulton College.

All courses include a progressive and developmental learning syllabus that is based on 21st Century Skills, focussing specifically on developing the 4 Cs (collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication) in addition to improving English language skills.

British Summer School offers a fully inclusive recreational programme that includes a choice of different sports and activities every day and cultural excursions at weekends. Some courses offer additional off-site activities and visits.

If students prefer to specialise, they can take a Pro Option in Aviation Simulator, Dance, Food Innovation, Football, Golf, Horse Riding or Tennis. Pro Options take place over 4 afternoons per week.

For students wishing to gain an official qualification, we offer several English language exams such as the Cambridge B1, B2 and C1, IELTS and Trinity College exams.

All courses feature our unique and bespoke True Me philosophy to enable students to increase their personal skills, social skills, self-confidence, and authenticity. This helps them to build more natural, genuine, and positive relationships in the future and helps them to become successful citizens of the 21st century.

The residential course fee is fully inclusive of accommodation, evening entertainment, excursions, lessons, meals, multi-sports, transfers, and travel insurance.
