Do you need to build business from the Asia Pacific?

Members Our annual student statistics report showed that the Asia Pacific region includes five of the top 20 ELT sending countries: Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and Taiwan. If you are looking to build business here, the English UK Fair, Danang and China Roadshow will help you meet agents and build new business relationships.

Build strong foundations for great business in Danang

Held in several world regions every year, the English UK fairs are unique, smaller, regionally-focussed, all-inclusive workshops designed to maximise your networking opportunities.

This year's Asia Pacific-focussed event is The English UK Fair, Danang (22 - 25 November). With direct air connections to 25 regional cities, and its reputation as a centre for cultural heritage, Danang in Vietnam is a great host destination. Vietnam itself has long term potential (Vietnam's economy achieved 5.9% growth and is predicted to have 30 million middle-class or higher consumers spending a significant stake on education).

Previous delegates have described the event as an "excellent well organised workshop providing an opportunity to meet quality agents and form new partnerships" and "brilliant in allowing me to grasp the nuances between the various Asian markets, including each country's business style."

We set quotas for the number of agents attending from each country so you are sure to meet a good nationality mix. Last year's regional event (in Xi'an, China) brought together 40 agencies from more than eight countries, including China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

This all-inclusive educator package costs GBP 3,155 (at the early bird rate available until 30 April 2016).

Dovetail with our annual B2B event in China

The China Roadshow (14 - 18 November) is specifically aimed at the Chinese summer school programme/short overseas study travel market and in 2016 comprises of three one-day workshops in Beijing, Hangzhou and Guangzhou.

Supported by the British Council China, the event has a strong in-market reputation. It is recognised as an official channel for agents to meet new and existing UK English language teaching partners, as well as where they can receive market updates and industry training. Over 300 agents are expected attend the three one-day workshops in Beijing, Hangzhou and Guangzhou.
