Secure your place at next year's Academic conference with an early-bird rate for all bookings made before Monday 18 December.
The new English UK Academic Conference combines our teachers' and management conferences into a sleek, one-stop event for ELT practitioners and their managers.
Join us to hear from expert speakers, meet materials providers, catch up with old contacts and make new ones over great food throughout the day and an evening drinks reception. While Friday will focus more on management, Saturday's sessions will focus on classroom practice.
We are delighted to announce our two headline speakers are: linguistic guru Professor David Crystal, who will discuss accents, and Dr Catherine Walter, who will ask whether or not we need to teach grammar. And Hannah Alexander-Wright will hold an interactive session on using coaching to be the empowering leader you want to be.
To make it as flexible as possible, Friday 19 January is aimed primarily at academic directors and Saturday 20 January has a programme for teachers, and you can book for either or both days. We anticipate lots of interest, and that member centres which used the conferences for CPD in the past will find the new format even more useful.
