InterContinental Al Ain Resort

The Al Ain Fair will bring together accredited UK English language centres and study abroad agents to meet and do business in the United Arab Emirates' Garden City, located only 90 minutes drive from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Participation is limited to just 70 organisations (30 educators and 40 agencies) and is open to English UK member centres and selected top quality agents from the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and Turkey.

The UAE was chosen as a venue for this Fair, as it is an easily accessible and desirable destination for both language travel agents from countries around the region and UK educators. The InterContinental Al Ain Resort - a luxurious 5 star resort nestled in the lush green landscape of an oasis city - can be reached from Dubai and Abu Dhabi (we can assist with booking a transfer if necessary).

Participation is free* for agents and the package offered will include 3 nights accommodation at the InterContinental Al Ain Resort, Welcome Arabian Barbecue, workshop sessions (one-to-one appointments), eSchedule Lite account (online appointment scheduling system), seminar programme, lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, evening desert excursion and barbecue, and Farewell Dinner.

Please see download the attached leaflet for more details.

How to register

If you wish to register, please download, complete and return the Application Form as soon as possible (places are limited). The form is formatted as an interactive PDF file making it possible to complete it electronically and return it via email using the 'submit' button located at the bottom of page 2.

*Please ensure you read the terms and conditions carefully before submitting your application and note all participating agents are required to provide details of a valid credit card in order to secure their participation in the event. A cancellation fee of GBP 300 will be charged if an agent fails to cancel their attendance a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the event. The only exception considered will be a visa refusal to the destination country.

Please also note by registering for the Al Ain Fair, you consent to schedule appointments with participating educators through the online eSchedule Lite appointment scheduling system prior to the event. The eSchedule Lite appointment system will go live in good time before the Al Ain Fair. You will receive further details about this and your personal login information (via email direct from Marcom Consulting) in due course.

Agents wishing to take part should be serious about sending clients to the UK to study English language courses. If more agents apply than there are places available, selection will be made on the basis of ensuring a representative sample of the markets in the region. Beyond this criterion, places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
