Invitation to web seminar with UKBA: Student visas explained
4 May 2012

English UK would like to extend the British Council's invitation to agents to attend an interactive web-seminar on Thursday 17 May 2012 with the UK Border Agency.

There have been many changes to the UK's student visa system recently, and this British Council web-seminar will hopefully help you to understand the changes and how this will affect students.

If you would like to attend the web-seminar, please complete the questionnaire on the link below to register:

  • All you need to take part is a computer with internet access and a phone. You can take part from wherever you are based. Two will be running to sessions to cater for different time-zones. On the questionnaire you can specify which session you would like to attend. Once you have registered, the British Council will confirm your place and send you further details about how to login.
  • To help the British Council plan the content for the seminar so that it is useful for you, please click here to complete a short questionnaire. Please note, the information you provide in this questionnaire is strictly confidential and your personal information will not be shared with anybody else.
  • An article which explains the recent changes to the student visa system has been uploaded to the Education UK Website. Please take a moment to read this article in advance of the webinar. Click here to view the article.

If you have any questions about this visa web seminar, please email educationuk.website@britishcouncil.org. Please do not email English UK as we are circulating this information on behalf of the British Council.
