Description of centre

Plymouth, Britain’s Ocean City, is one of Europe’s most vibrant waterfront cities with a rich maritime heritage. The historic Barbican is at the heart, with the city’s oldest buildings, cobbled streets, and a picturesque harbor featuring the famous Mayflower Steps.

Meridian offers adults (18+) a self-catering Summer Residential (July/August) in closed groups. Accommodation is student residential and the program is taught in the classrooms of the University of Plymouth. We also offer homestays for closed groups of adults or young learners 13+ throughout the year with teaching taking place in the Swarthmore Centre and a residential offer in Plymouth College for young learners during July and August.

Young learners between 5 & 13 years of age are welcome to join our all-year-round online program.
