Description of centre

Based in the heart of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, CELT was founded in 1989 and has been accredited by the British Council since 1993. We were the first school in Wales to become members of Quality English.

With over 35 years' experience of welcoming students, our school is the longest established independent institution teaching English in the city. We provide a wide range of English language courses throughout the year to a variety of different nationalities, with our main aim being to offer students top quality courses at affordable prices. Our classes are small with an average of 8 students per class and we have a great multi-national mix of students throughout the year.

We have two school buildings in the city: our adult centre for students aged 17+ and our dedicated young learners centre for students aged 13 to 17. Both builidings are only a short walk away from the city centre shopping area.

As a small school, we are able to give students personal care and attention within a homely and friendly learning environment.
