English UK is delighted to announce that Trinity College London has chosen to sponsor our professional development conferences for the second year running.

This follows a very successful first year's partnership for Trinity College London and English UK.

Huan Japes, English UK's deputy chief executive for professional services, said: "This is a highly beneficial partnership for both of us, and we're delighted that Trinity has chosen to support our annual conference programme once more.

"Trinity's support is critical in allowing us to put on a number of vital events for the UK ELT industry, including high-quality speakers, comfortable venues and excellent networking opportunities. Without Trinity's support we would be forced to be so much less ambitious.

"Delegates at our events also benefit from hearing about Trinity's range of ESOL examinations and TEFL/ TESOL qualifications and enjoy conference sessions showcasing Trinity's expertise in these areas."

The first of the events covered by the new agreement is the English UK Teachers' Conference 2015, which will be held in London on Saturday 7 November, with speakers including Scott Thornbury and Marjorie Rosenberg. 2016 events sponsored by Trinity College London include the Marketers' Conference, the Managers' Conference and the AGM and Annual Conference.

Henry Tolley, head of business development at Trinity College London said: "We are greatly looking forward to another successful programme of events in partnership with English UK. Trinity has been providing assessments since 1877 and our international network is growing fast.

"By supporting English UK to deliver their conference programme, we hope to inspire more students to study in the UK, whether in English, drama, dance or music, benefitting from our range of recognised and respected qualifications. We are also committed to supporting teachers; November's conference will be a key event to demonstrate the possibilities of continuing professional development, and we look forward to meeting the delegates there."
