How will the UK's ELT industry recover and rebuild after Covid-19?

English UK Summit
Monday 14 - Wednesday 16 September

To support and lead the way, English UK has announced a groundbreaking summit so members and international partners can share expert insight and discuss individual opportunities in one-to-one meetings.

Tim Barker, English UK's business development director, said: "As the UK moves out of lockdown, we and our members are planning the safest ways to give our students the educational experience they expect from us, and how we can work with partners whose countries may be at very different points in the pandemic.

"This is our chance to show the world all the work that has gone into making the UK ELT industry Covid-19 secure, listen to the concerns that will still exist in the market and start to work with key international partners on restoring market confidence.

"We see this Summit as an opportunity for members, service providers and agents to discuss and resolve issues that predate Covid-19 and ensure that we are all working together to help the whole supply chain for UK ELT to recover, succeed and thrive.

"Seminars delivered by experts from across the sector will provide delegates with the information they need, panel-led discussions will help clarify strategies on market and business development, and one-to-one meetings with key buyers will secure the relationships needed to put these strategies into action. We're really excited about this event."

Summit programme

English UK Summit: working together to rebuild and succeed, will run on Monday 14 - Wednesday 16 September and include expert briefings on UK ELT, interactive workshops and up to 24 one-to-one business meetings to connect with agents and partners.

Industry experts will share insights on topics including emerging and predicted travel trends, the practicalities of sending students to the UK and market research on student intentions, with plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas, questions or concerns.
