ST Alphe UK and ST Star Awards

Friday 4 – Sunday 6 September  

We will be promoting English UK members and the UK ELT sector to agents from around the world at Alphe UK. Jodie, Huan and Roz will attend on Friday, joined by Alice and Siobhan on Saturday. Naadiya and Eleanor will represent English UK on Sunday. 

We'll be based at table A2 on the lower floor on Saturday and Sunday, so do drop by to say hello. 

We're delighted to see 15 English UK member centres and groups, 4 corporate members and 14 partner agencies named finalists in this year's ST Star Awards. Huan and Roz will be supporting our member finalists at the awards dinner, where English UK is shortlisted for the ST Leading Star Association award.

ALTO CPD event

Monday 7 September

Jodie will participate in this full-day professional development and networking event for ALTO members. ALTO is a collaborative forum that aims to bring leaders and decision-makers within the educational travel industry together to share best practices, discuss industry trends, and improve global standards in educational travel.

IFL LATAM Workshop

Bethany will promote English UK members and the UK ELT sector to agents from across Latin America and Central America at this year's IFL Workshop. As well as in-person meetings, Bethany will deliver a presentation on current UK ELT market trends and broader industry news and developments. The event is supported by AARSA (Asociación Argentina de Estudios en el Exterior).

ICEF Berlin and UK Reception

ICEF Berlin connects thousands of senior decision-makers across the global education industry for a three-day networking event. Come to our table to catch up with some of the English UK staff team.

On Tuesday 3 November, on the final evening of ICEF Berlin, English UK will host a UK Reception at Hotel Berlin. We're bringing together UK English language providers, international study abroad agents and key sector stakeholders attending the event.

English UK South West Annual Conference and AGM

The team will join the members of the English UK South West regional group as they meet for their annual conference in Bristol.

Our StudyWorld China event connects UK education and service providers with quality education agents across Beijing and Shanghai. Organised by English UK, Siobhan and Eleanor will accompany the group to provide support throughout the event.

ST Alphe Colombia 2026

Roz will be attending StudyTravel's new in-market event in Bogotá to promote members and UK ELT to education agents who recruit students from Colombia and neighbouring countries, while also refreshing connections with ANEX Colombia.

Sales and Marketing Conference

Our Sales and Marketing Conference returns this December.

This one-day event is for any ELT centre staff involved in promoting and selling English language courses to international students. The programme includes a range of sessions exploring key themes shaping our sector, from next-gen marketing and relationship building to commercial growth and conversion.
