Anas Alsalamah is 18 and was studying at English UK member Suzanne Sparrow Plymouth Language School until July 2016. He works with his father in the family business, a farm which is the largest producer of flowers, especially chrysanthemums, in Al-Kharj City.

What made you choose to come and study English in the UK?

I came to the UK because my aunt was studying here for one year. She recommended the school and Plymouth. I am in the same host family as my aunt.

Why do you want to improve your English?

I work with my father on our farm, planting and seeding. We grow indoor plants and flowers and vegetables. I work with my father in administration and I need English to do that, and to talk to the people who work with us.

What's the best thing about the UK?

I like my teachers and the weather, even the rain. It's different from Saudi Arabia. I like everything and would recommend it to my family and friends.
