Summer time = Festival time = Leeds and Reading Festivals

The annual Leeds and Reading festivals are a highlight for anyone who loves music. The line-up consists of some of the biggest names in the music scene. Artists like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fall out Boy, Foals and Disclosure will headline the festivals this year.

Both events take place simultaneously from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 of August and share the same line-up. So you can chose which location you prefer and still see exactly the same famous musicians. The Leeds Festival is held at Bramham Park in Leeds (the UK's third biggest city) and the Reading Festival takes place at Richfield Avenue. Reading is only 30 minutes away from London.

For all who are not ready to go back to the campsite after the gigs are over, the festivals also offers a cinema. After the stage lights go down, the cinema screen comes up. There you can watch movies like Jurassic World, Deadpool or Star Wards.
The big crowds are full of energy and their amazing mood makes the Reading and Leeds Festivals Britain's best rock festivals, and an experience which you should definitely not miss!

Do you want to combine your music festival experience with the mood of the Fringe festival? In 2005, the Reading festival created the Reading Fringe Festival. Much like the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, this sees venues in the town hosting fringe acts like comedians, artists and musicians all hoping to draw crowds and industry figures from the larger festival. The Reading Fringe has run annually since then.
