18 August 2017

Members are using detailed market reports on 2017's second trading quarter to inform strategic marketing and business development decisions.

Part of English UK's mission is to support members with high-quality statistical insights to help the UK English language teaching industry thrive. The Quarterly Intelligence Cohort (QUIC) is our optional quarterly student statistics group open to all English UK member centres on an annual rolling basis.

Last week the 124 participating member centres received the second of English UK's 2017 QUIC reports, all English UK members are now able to access the executive summary version.

The QUIC reports help English UK's members to benchmark their performance and identify market trends and opportunities. As they are provided more quickly than competitor nations statistics, they enable  time-critical business decisions to be based on robust data.

Although the full report is only for the QUIC participants, an executive summary of the report's headline data is available to all English UK members.

The leading source markets in quarter two 2017 were Saudi Arabia (20,876 weeks), Italy (15,862), and South Korea (14,643) and 43% of all junior student weeks reported in quarter two came from three markets - Italy, Spain and China.
