English UK Board of Trustees – call for nominations for the 2021 elections

Calls for nominations are now open. All member centres can propose and second candidates for elections to one of five available seats on the board of trustees.

The impact of Covid-19 on members and UK ELT is profound and unprecedented. Strong, strategic leadership and good governance is needed to shepherd the association through the ongoing pandemic and to take advantage of the opportunities in recovery and growth.

The last 12 months has shown that as a community, we are stronger together. Throughout, our trustees have volunteered their time and expertise as the custodians of English UK, for which we are so grateful. Have you got what it takes to step forward and take up the baton?

If you are thinking of standing for election and would like to discuss the role, contact Chief Executive Jodie Gray

The election timetable:
  • Nominations close at 17:00 on Friday 23 April
  • Ballot forms go out on Monday 26 April
  • Voting closes at 17:00 on Friday 14 May
  • Result of elections announced at the AGM on Friday 21 May
