Students often ask for tips to help them learn English quicker and better. We asked some English UK member centres what they recommended - and here's some ideas from International House in Belfast. Look out for more ideas in future weeks.

• Go to an English-speaking country
• Immerse yourself in the experience
• Live with native speakers, such as in a Homestay family
• Go to a city where not many people speak your language
• Don't be shy! Don't be afraid of making mistakes. In Northern Ireland the people are very friendly and enjoy talking to international students
