As part of the Shakespeare Lives campaign, we are marking the 400th anniversary since Shakespeare's death with a scholarship competition in Spanish speaking Latin America.
Launched on 1 October, the competition invites entrants to make a very short video (in English) that aims to inspire other English language learners to discover Shakespeare. How they do this is up to their own imagination - so we expect to see a huge variety of exciting and creative content generated. The 30 most viewed YouTube videos will go through to the final, and nine lucky winners will travel to the UK in early 2017, for three week courses hosted by member centres in England, Scotland and Wales. Their experience of learning English in UK will be shared via social media, email lists and travel bloggers. The competition closes on 21 November 2016.
