The nine asks outlined in our new position paper would enable UK ELT to recover its position as the world's premier ELT destination.

Our top asks are aimed at attracting school groups and young adults to study in the UK: 

• Introduce a group travel scheme to enable EU school groups to visit the UK easily

• Expand the Youth Mobility Scheme to enable more young adults to work and study in the UK

Our recent parliamentary reception to launch the paper was a success: on Thursday 11 May we were joined by eight MPs, civil servants and a trade minister, who spoke warmly about our sector. Now we want to build awareness and support among MPs across the country.
