Most overseas students return home after study in UK, report shows

Overseas students are more likely to go home at the end of their visa than most other groups, Home Office research proves.
The report 'The Migrant Journey' was written to inform the Coalition's review of UK immigration, and was cited by immigration minister Damian Green in a widely-previewed speech tonight.

Student Visitor Visas

We would like to remind members that under the visitor rules, students cannot spend more than 6 months in any 12 in the UK.
If a student would like to return to the UK after spending 6 months on a Student Visitor Visa, students at B1 can apply for a GSV, but students below B1 will have to wait another 6 months before they can make another SVV application.
