English UK inward missions are designed to offer language travel agents the opportunity to gain direct experience of English language education in the UK.

English UK Professional Services have been busy this week with booking forms and enquiries about our Teachers' Conference, due to take place on November 12.   

Last year was a sell-out.   English UK have secured extra space for this year at the stylish Prospero House venue, but to avoid disappointment take a few minutes this weekend to get your form completed! 

With the launch of our new online briefing course, agencies from around the world will now have the chance to sign to the Partner Agency scheme. This scheme has been created to recognise study abroad agencies and educational consultancies that are successfully promoting the UK as an English language teaching destination.

The British Council are asking for expressions of interest from language centres in the UK to provide English language courses in the UK for state schools teachers of English. Proposals are to be submitted by Friday 21 October.

Applications are now open for the only international awards that recognise and celebrate innovation in English language teaching. The ELTons 2012 awards ceremony will be held on the 23 May 2012.
