The changes at the UK Border Agency are unlikely to make any useful difference to the operation of the visa system for students and may even cause new problems, according to Tony Millns, Chief Executive of English UK.
Along with productive appointment sessions and a tailored seminar programme, a cheery night at a Czech beerhouse, complete with singing and dancing, was also one of the highlights of The English UK Fair, Prague which took place from 5 - 8 March 2013.
The English UK ELT Management Conference boasted a range of useful sessions aimed at academic managers, course designers and anyone interested in high-quality professional development. The open plenary was by IATEFL President Eric Baber, as well as panel discussions including one on Accreditation issues with Liz McLaren from the British Council.
