We are pleased to announce the 2014 autumn/winter English UK Fairs will be in Kyoto, Japan and Antalya, Turkey. Organised by English UK in partnership with the British Council, UK Trade & Investment and VisitBritain, the English UK Fairs are the only agents' workshops to focus exclusively on the UK's English language teaching sector, with each fair targeting a different key world region for student recruitment.

Bookings are now open for our 2013–2014 training days, with the first session being held on Friday 13 September. We run a wide selection of training days to cover all aspects of language centres' work including management, marketing, welfare and teaching.

English UK today relaunches its website after a major overhaul. Users will find Englishuk.com much easier to use, thanks to new navigation, clearer signposting and stunning graphics.

The new UK international education strategy, published today (Monday 29 July) by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, sees the English language as key to growth in education exports.

English UK member centre, Liverpool International Language Academy (LILA) is launching it's first online version of the world's most used English language qualification to get a career teaching English.
