English Path, one of the largest school chains in the UK, has welcomed RefuAid students to its classroom since its earliest days.
RefuAid, the charity which works to restore independence and dignity to refugees, has worked with around 90 English language centres to give their clients access to the language learning they need to pass the IELTS or OET exams, allowing them to continue their careers or education in the UK.
Our new position paper sets out how the UK government can support the UK's ELT sector to recover it's position as a world leader.
The English UK Parliamentary Reception will take place in the Terrace Pavilion of the House of Commons on Thursday 11 May from 13:30 - 15:30, hosted by Stephen Hammond, MP for Wimbledon.
This is a valuable opportunity for English UK members to meet and network with MPs, Lords and other stakeholders to raise the profile of UK ELT and our need for policy support from government. We'll be launching our new position paper at the event.
