ExpoBelta 2010 - special discount

ExpoBelta 2010 will take place in São Paulo, on 20 - 21 March 2010, at the Frei Caneca Convention Center. 10,000 visitors are expected.

Expo Study English UK - Mexico City, 4-8 February 2010

Anglo Latino Education Partnership is planning on running a Study English UK Fair in February 2010 in Mexico City. This Fair will be amply publicised in the local press and through targeted email shots and will provide a platform for English UK members to promote their centres in and around Mexico City, both face to face with Mexican students and families and through agents on the ground, who will be invited to the B2B element of the Expo.

Thank you for your continuous support to the British Council China’s efforts to promote UK ELT sector in China, especially to our Summer School Programme which has been running successfully for nine years. With the market growing mature and more UK centres developing their alternative promotional channels in China, the British Council China plans not to organise our own summer school programme in 2009/10.

E-petition over Immigration PBS Review

As you may be aware, the government plans to hold a major review of the Points Based System for Visas in December. Many of the proposals could have a significant and detrimental effect on education providers across all sectors. An English UK member has created an e-petition, which is available for all to sign to demonstrate support for the sector.
