What's the difference between coaching and mentoring? When should I use coaching and how do I go about setting up a coaching programme? What's my role and how do we get results? These are the type of questions that will be explored in Getting Results through Coaching and Mentoring.

Over 600 delegates from 45 ELT markets attended the three-day English UK Summit this week.

The first day – which was free to attend for English UK members and international partners – had a full programme of 22 sessions including an address by government exports minister Graham Stuart.

Over days two and three, English UK members, corporate members and agents had around 2,000 online 1-2-1 business meetings.

Jodie Gray, English UK's chief executive, is joined by Steve Phillips, a director at British Study Centres and English UK chair, and Graham Stuart MP to address delegates of English UK's first online summit.

In this plenary session by Laura Van Eeckhout of Foresight Factory, we will explore how the needs of young travellers in particular have changed during these unprecedented times and how they can be attracted through experiences that are adapted to the next normal, yet as exciting and inspiring as ever.

The third strand of our summit seminars will focus on understanding new UK regulations including the new points based immigration system, legal agreements, and UKVI support available to students during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our second strand of summit seminars, taking place on Monday 14 September, focus on market development opportunities for student recruitment and developing other revenue streams through in-country delivery of training.
