Bookings are open for English UK's 2012 Teachers' Conference, being held on 10 November at Prospero House, London and we are pleased to have Jeremy Harmer and Adrian Underhill confirmed as speakers.

The cost is £90 for members and £130 for non-members. Members can take advantage of our early bird rate of £70 until Friday 28 September.  Bookings can be made at www.englishuktraining.com.

We are pleased to announce our first training day of the 2012/2013 calendar. On the 12 September, we will be holding an ISI Preparation day led by Grażyna Sutherland, Co-Principal of London International Study Centre, aimed at those members who have yet to go through the ISI process. 

English UK are pleased to announce that bookings are being taken for the ELT Teachers' Conference 2012, held on Saturday 10 November at Prospero House, London.

English UK welcomes the recommendation by a committee of MPs that the Government should exclude students from its net migration target, with the Home Affairs Committee saying that it is important that the UK does not fall behind its international competitors by becoming a less attractive option for international students.

English UK is delighted to welcome its newest regional group, English UK East. The group was formed in summer 2012 and has around 20 members so far.
